1, open constan.cw as text file(.txt) in computer
2, edit the keycode in the file Constant.cw
3, save the file in USB
4, insert the USB into the receiver
5, go to menu "NETWORK SETUP"----CCCAM CLIENT SETUP"
6, go to the first list "update files by USB'
7, go to the third list "constant.cw(cccam plug) , then press ok
8, press the yellow key on the remote controller, the receiver will save the files.

Mi consulta es la del titulo... es lo mismo un skybox que un openbox??

 

Pregunto ya que pretendo comprarme un Skybox F3, y por mas que busco no logro encontrar si es compatible con el dongle ibox, pero si he encontrado info que me hace entender que si no son lo mismo, casi lo son.

stimado, los que mas se parecen entre si, openbox s9-s10-s11-s12, Solomend HD y los skybox s9-s10-s11-s12, y el Skybox F3, que es diferente en el menu sobre todo, pareciera ser de la misma linea, si trae puerto serial rs 232 y como activar twin protocol setup, tendria que servir para el dongle I-box.

Suspect this may also be related to the ocassional diseqc motor problem users have reported, and may actually fix that too once and for all.
For 58 cents it's worth a try.

So rather than offend anyone, just Google "S9 Fix For The Low LNB Voltage"
and you will find plenty of hits describing the issue and the solution as posted by 'Pixl'.

I haven't had any such problems, but I've seen other users report issues, so I just ordered some from digikey for myself, just because.

Bottom line: PTC resettable Fuse F1 near the tuner, look at the original part,
if marked M60 065 -> bad
if marked JK60 065 -> good

Replacement Little Fuse part available from Digikey -> F1993CT-ND, 58 cents each.
